• Writing Content: Your projects, entries, and written content are stored locally on your device. We do not store your writing on our servers.
• AI Interactions: When you use AI-assisted features, your text is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. We do not retain copies of these interactions on our servers.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns such as feature usage frequency and session duration to improve the app experience.
• Purchase Data: Subscription status is managed through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not process or store payment information directly.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the FaithPen writing experience
• To process AI-assisted writing features through the Gemini API
• To manage your subscription status
• To improve app performance and user experience
• To respond to support requests

3. Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API

When you use AI features, your text prompts are sent to Google's Gemini API. Google processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. We recommend reviewing Google's data practices.

Apple StoreKit

Subscription purchases and management are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Payment processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

• All writing content is stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate servers that store your personal writing data.
• We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data transmitted through the app.

5. Data Retention

Your writing content remains on your device until you delete it. If you uninstall FaithPen, all locally stored data is removed. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your locally stored data at any time by removing entries or uninstalling the app
• Opt out of analytics data collection by contacting us
• Request information about what data we have associated with your account

7. Children's Privacy

FaithPen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
